The Trimble FmX display uses IDs to store the properties of a parcel. MiniGIS therefore assigns an ID to each parcel individually, which should tell the FmX terminal that it is a parcel from MiniGIS. The ID also contains the information about the color of the parcel and the information as to whether the parcel can be used for remote output.

When the display first comes into contact with data from MiniGIS, it does not know what information is hidden behind the ID written by MiniGIS.

In this case, the plots are displayed in black and cannot be used to trigger the seed drill automatically.

It is therefore necessary to write this ID information on the display. This process is usually only necessary once for each FmX terminal. Even after a hard reset at the terminal, the IDs must be exported again.

The IDs for the Trimble FmX display can be exported in the Settings → FmX → IDs menu.

The standard line type that MiniGIS uses for lane guidance is the line feature: MiniGIS calculates the necessary driving lines when creating an experimental block. When exporting, all lines are transferred to the Trimble FmX display. The driver of the tractor can use all of these lines for automatic lane guidance.

Driving on (driving) lanes is also possible. Although MiniGIS also creates all the lines necessary for guiding the test block here, depending on the setting, only the baselines for the seed and path direction are exported when exporting. The display is given a baseline for each direction, and other parallel lines are calculated by the display based on the set working width.

If you want to drive according to lanes, you can do this under Extras→ Settings → FmX → Export.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][divider line_type=”No Line”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
