The index calculator is required to calculate vegetation indices using multispectral images. The index calculator can be found under the Scoring tab. Created formulas are predefined within the calculator.

Three different layers are required for the creation, which are offset against each other. The surface model shows the existing surfaces and is usually the result of an overflight with vegetation. A simple tool is used to crop orthophotos to the desired parcels.

The desired orthophoto and the plot of land must be loaded into the project. Now right-click on the orthophoto to select the field for cutting raster to polygon.

To create a zone map, a vegetation index is required as a raster layer. After loading the raster layer, right-click on the layer to select the Create Zones window.

Various parameters can be set when creating the zones. The accuracy, which can also be understood as the resolution, determines the size of the individual pixels. Number of zones defines the number of zones and Minimum zone size defines the smallest possible size of the individual zones.
