To do this, the layer that contains the experiment must be selected in the layer list and a parcel of the parcel experiment that is to be aligned must be marked.
After clicking on the Align to Object tool, any object can now be selected with the mouse pointer in the map window. The experiment block is now aligned parallel to the desired line.
Please note that the experiment is always based on the direction at the selected point. The parcel experiment cannot be postponed independently of the AB lines. Individual parcels cannot be moved. When the move mode is active, the mouse pointer changes to a target arrow.
If the option Snapping is activated under Extras → Settings, you can precisely dock the test block on help lines. It is also possible to create verticals on existing lines. The associated tools are located in the toolbar.
First, select the layer in the layer list that contains the object on which a parallel or perpendicular is to be created. Then select one of the three tools for creating the help lines in the toolbar. Now you can select an existing line or the edge of an object in the map view. To do this, right-click on the corresponding test block in the layer list and select the option Cut experiment on boundary.
Now select the outline layers and the outline object to be used for cutting.
